Antiparos lies 800 metres southwest of Paros across a strait so shallow that Bronze Age merchants once forded it on foot during low tide.
Today that narrow channel defines the Cyclades' most intimate island-hopping corridor, a turquoise passage lined with uninhabited islets and sand spits that vanish twice daily beneath the Aegean.
